School Programmes
Young Pathfinders, is an outdoor learning organisation based around survival & adventure. We have been established for nearly five years now and since then we have evolved from a small club to a growing business which offers outdoor learning experiences to children aged from 5+.

In the last five years, we have positively impacted and worked with over 3000 children, attending either our clubs, after school clubs, school visits, summer activities, Birthday parties, family days or residential experiences.

Even now, we continue to grow!

We have been working successfully with Leicestershire primary schools providing after school clubs, enrichment activities for PPA sessions, forest school & outdoor learning visits to our private woodland near Ashby de la Zouch which is set amidst a 400 acre forest.

Our aim is to challenge and inspire children to be creative and explore their local outdoor environment. This experience equips students with skills for their future, broadening their horizons giving them opportunities to experience activities that children of previous generations took for granted.

We run various different services for schools including our extremely popular survival school and our brand new Spy school which teaches children elements from STEM in a fun and imaginative way.

We offer flexible workshops, Forest Schools, adventure days/ residential trips as well as running a 6-8 week introductory survival course as an after school club..

Forest Schools

Learning Outside the Classroom develops an understanding of the social, economic and environmental impact of our natural surroundings in children.

Our expert teaching combined with a natural environment are all that’s needed to bring nature to life and for children to learn valuable life skills and increase self esteem.

Engaging with mini-beast hunts, shelter building, fire lighting, bushcraft skills and more, Young Pathfinders sessions can be delivered in your own surroundings or at our woodland location amidst a 400 acre forest.

They are packed with activities to bring children of all ages and abilities together, appreciating the sustainable role the natural environment in our lives in the most hands-on way possible.

We are accessible all year round to schools, community groups and individual parties.
